Deep learning is basically a small part of AI that stimulates the human brain and makes decisions for you. Deep learning has 3 different layers of coding, input layers, hidden layers and output layers. These layers of coding help the machine learn and make decisions for themselves. The great part about deep learning is that it doesn't need any human intervention and can process big and complex chunks of data in a small amount of time. Many AI platforms in today's day use deep learning.


Generative AI

Generative AI are deep learning models but unlike deep learning they are the face of the AI platform. For example when you see ChatGPT the actual AI that delivers your response is generative AI while deep learning is the backbone. Generative AI models make hard and complicated concepts easy to understand while keeping it similar, but not changing it completely.

Variational autoencoders or VAEs are generative AI models which make multiple images for the same prompt.

Diffusion models are generative AI models that add sound to images.

Transformer models are AI models that take collection of data and turn it into images, videos and simple code for other models to process the information easier. Some AI applications that use transformer models are ChatGPT,Gemini,Grok and many more.
