Natural Language Processing
NLP (National Language Processing) refers to the processing of human language by computer programs. NLP algorithms can interpret and interact with human language, performing tasks such as translation, speech recognition and sentiment analysis. One of the oldest and best-known examples of NLP is spam detection, which looks at the subject line and text of an email and decides whether it is junk. More advanced applications of NLP include LLMs (Large Language Models) such as ChatGPT and Anthropic's Claude.
